Uses:
A best choice for over seeding and new construction of Bluegrass fairways. MIDNIGHT also can be used as a dense, attractive first cut rough to contrast Bentgrass fairways. This is an excellent choice for over seeding of high maintenance Bluegrass athletic fields. When used in a program of high fertility and managed soil P.H., it will spread and withstand cleat wear, traffic and mechanical damage. Always spread the genetic base of your Kentucky bluegrass turf by using 3 or more “types” in your mixes.
Geographical Adaptation:
MIDNIGHT will thrive throughout the range of Kentucky bluegrasses adaptation. Due to its strong genetic breadth it has adaptability in the Northern quarter of the transition zone under appropriate management.
